TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Billing statements are issued on a bi-monthly basis. Payment is due within 30 days of the billing date. Accounts not paid by the due date will be assessed a late fee equal to 10% of the outstanding balance.
A Service Initiation Fee will be applied to the customer's first bill. Water service disconnected for non-payment will be subject to a Reconnect Fee prior to service restoration. A Returned Check Fee or Returned Electronic Payment (E-Payment) Fee will be assessed for any payment returned by a financial institution.
The customer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Gardnerville Water Company (GWC), including its officers, directors, managers, employees, and agents, from and against any claims, demands, injuries, damages, losses, liabilities, collection costs, legal expenses, and attorney's fees arising from or related to the provision of water service at the service address, including all associated service and collection charges.

WATER METERS:
Water service is measured through a meter. The meter, meter pit, and all associated equipment are the property of GWC. Access to the meter pit and operation of the water service valve at the meter are restricted to authorized GWC personnel.
Unauthorized access to the meter pit or tampering with any meter equipment is strictly prohibited and will result in a Meter Tampering Fee being assessed to the customer's account.
